About the winemaker

The Domaine de la Cabotte is 30 hectares of happiness in the heart of the Rhône Valley! Its name comes from a dry stone shelter, typical of the region, which symbolizes resilience and authenticity. Owned by the Burgundy winemaker Gabriel d'Ardhuy, owner of the famous eponymous estate, La Cabotte was taken over by his daughter Marie-Pierre and her husband Eric Plumet. Biodynamic viticulture has made it possible to make the most of the rich soils of the Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Massif d'Uchaux and Côtes du Rhône appellations. The wines are lively, aromatic, deep and straight. We fell in love with this estate!
