About the winemaker

Located at the foot of the Trois Croix mountain, Marengues is the southernmost appellation of the Côte de Beaune. In 2020, Hugo and Talloulah Mathurin set down their suitcases there, with a label of young winegrowers but a CV that would make any government elite pale. Hugo learned his trade with Jean-Marc Roulot and the immense Frédéric Mugnier. Talloulah moved to the famous Clos de Tart... no less. By buying these 5 hectares of vines in Marengues, they are looking for freshness and the bet is more than successful: the first vintages are fine, elegant, carried by a masterful fruit. Time will make it a great estate, that's for sure! Go for it!
